Matterials is a search and discovery tool. We index publicly available product listings from third-party retailers and surface their fabric composition, price, and category so you can search and filter by material. We are not a retailer. We do not sell, ship, price, or fulfill any product listed on the site. Every purchase happens directly on the retailer's own website, under their own terms.
Product and fabric composition data shown on Matterials is collected from retailers' own publicly listed product pages, using a combination of automated data collection and AI-assisted processing (including third-party large language models) to read and interpret retailer product descriptions and extract structured information such as fabric percentages.
All product information on Matterials, including fabric composition, price, availability, and images, is sourced from third-party retailers and provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Retailers themselves sometimes mislabel or inaccurately describe fabric composition on their own listings, and prices or availability can change after we index them.
Always verify fabric composition, price, and availability directly with the retailer, or on the garment's own tag, before making a purchase. Matterials is a starting point for your search, not a substitute for checking the actual product.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Matterials and its operator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on any information it provides, including without limitation mislabeled, inaccurate, or outdated fabric composition, pricing, or availability data.
Matterials is not a party to any transaction between you and a retailer. We are not responsible for order fulfillment, product quality, shipping, returns, customer service, or any other aspect of a purchase made on a retailer's website.
Matterials is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any retailer named or listed on the site, unless explicitly stated. Product names, images, and descriptions remain the property of their respective retailers and are used here for informational, referential purposes only.
